Does an Audi steering wheel keep Hands-On Detection (HOD)?
On C8-generation cars, HOD is embedded in the rim itself. We treat HOD retention as mandatory on those builds — a wheel without it can cause driver assistance systems to downgrade.
Will the Virtual Cockpit controls still work?
Yes, provided the switch protocol matches your B9 or B9.5 generation. Later B9.5 cars use capacitive touch pods that are not interchangeable with earlier tactile pods.
Can I fit an RS flat-bottom wheel to a standard A4?
Physically the rim fits within the same platform, but the airbag and paddle connectors differ between S/RS and standard models. We confirm from your chassis code and a photo of your current wheel.
How can I confirm compatibility with my vehicle?

Will my factory airbag fit?
