About Us
We Treat a Steering Wheel Like a Tolerance Problem
Measure twice. Cut once.
A steering wheel seems simple until you measure one. Splines, hub depth, clock-spring travel and airbag mounting points each change between models, and each has to be right before the covering goes on.
NIEVELT has spent thirteen years turning that list into a repeatable process. We confirm the geometry first, then build the rim around it.
01
Fitment Before Finish
Our first deliverable is not a wheel, it is a fitment confirmation. Chassis number, option list and photographs of the original rim go into a check against the parts your car actually carries.
Only after that does the build sheet exist, and the covering is chosen against a confirmed core.
02
Materials With Numbers Behind Them
Woven carbon, forged carbon, leather and Alcantara are specified by weight and finish, not by photograph. We do not use printed film.
Stitching is specified by colour and pitch. Where a customer wants a design that has not been built before, we mock it on a sample panel first.

- Leather and Alcantara cut and wrapped by hand

Where the Team Sits
Designers, cutters, machinists and stitchers work in the same Guangzhou building. A question about hub depth can be answered by the person who checked it.
Trade orders follow the same path as single builds, with the same confirmation step.
Engineering, Not Decoration
Patterns, jigs and cut panels in our Guangzhou workshop — the parts of the job nobody photographs.
